Questions we expect construction companies to ask before adopting BuildMetria.
Is BuildMetria finished?
BuildMetria is still under active development. We will only present production-ready features as available. Some modules shown in the long-term product roadmap are still being built, tested, or refined before commercial release.
Who is BuildMetria being built for first?
Custom home builders, residential remodelers, general contractors, design-build firms, superintendents, and project managers—especially small and midsize construction companies that need strong project control without a heavy enterprise implementation.
What will BuildMetria cost?
The current planned launch model is $79/month for Solo with one full internal user; $149/month for Team including five full internal users with additional full internal users at $15/month each; and $299/month for Company including fifteen full internal users with additional full internal users at $10/month each. Enterprise pricing is planned for 31+ users or specialized requirements. Pricing can still be refined before public launch based on actual operating costs and beta feedback.
Do I have to change plans when I add a sixth employee?
No. Team is designed to include five full internal users, with additional full internal users available individually. A company should be able to grow one employee at a time instead of being forced into a larger plan because it hired user number six.
What is a full internal user?
A full internal user is an employee or company team member who needs broad access to the BuildMetria workflows and permissions included with the selected plan. Exact role permissions will be documented before release.
Will field crew require paid full seats?
Our launch model is designed to include a no-cost limited Field Crew role for employees who only need field-level access such as assigned work, schedule visibility, project photos or notes, completing assigned items, or their own time entry where enabled. Limited Field Crew users would not receive full company, administrative, or financial access. Final permissions remain subject to production testing.
What is the Founding Builder Program?
The first 25 qualifying companies can receive BuildMetria at $99/month including five full internal users. Additional full internal users are planned at $15/month each. The $99 base rate and additional-seat rate are protected for 24 months from the paid launch date while the subscription remains active and eligible under the final program terms. The program includes guided onboarding and priority launch support.
What is the Design Partner beta?
Before broad paid release, BuildMetria plans to work with approximately 10–15 construction companies that will use the software on real projects and give direct product feedback. Design Partner participation is separate from the paid Founding Builder subscription.
Will clients and subcontractors require full paid seats?
Our launch model is designed so clients, trade partners, vendors, subcontractors, and other limited external collaborators can participate without every outside person being treated as a full internal paid user. Final permissions and role limits will be documented before release.
Will there be video training?
Yes. BuildMetria Academy is being designed around detailed video-first tutorials. Lessons will show the real BuildMetria interface with deliberate cursor movement, click highlights, zoom-ins, narration, captions, chapters, and searchable transcripts. Final videos will be recorded only after the related feature is stable enough that the training will not immediately become outdated.
Will the unfinished parts get tutorials too?
Yes. The Academy training roadmap already includes major modules that are still being developed. Each feature will move through a training pipeline: curriculum entry, learning objectives, final script and shot list, recording after UI lock, training QA, then publication.
Can companies export their data?
Data export and ownership are part of the launch-readiness requirements. BuildMetria does not intend to trap companies inside the platform. Exact export formats and supported data categories will be documented as those capabilities are finalized.
How will BuildMetria protect company data?
Security, company separation, role permissions, audit history, backups, recovery, and access controls are launch gates—not optional extras. BuildMetria will not be considered market-ready until those areas have been tested at the level appropriate for a production construction-management platform.
Will BuildMetria work on phones and tablets?
BuildMetria is being designed for desktop, tablet, and field use. Mobile and tablet QA are part of launch readiness because a construction platform must work where the project is actually being managed.
What happens when BuildMetria changes after a tutorial is published?
Training will be versioned and reviewed when a feature changes. A UI or workflow change can trigger the related lesson for review, editing, or re-recording so Academy content stays aligned with the software.
Can I see BuildMetria before launch?
Qualified companies can request a demo and may be considered for Design Partner or Founding Builder access depending on the current stage of rollout.
